Tiina-Katrina is known for her passion for development, being in charge of team development events at EnterTraining and community development at PARE. She also has strong links to sustainability. Having worked on Global Education and Fair Trade initiatives, it was her role in the CSR Forum in Estonia that helped set the focus on S or the human factor of sustainability. Today, Tiina-Katrina uses her prior experiences when working with organisations who value the growth and development of their people – both internally and externally. On Leaders Day, her role is to create an environment of exploration into G, S and E.

Companies generally fall into two groups: those who see ESG as confusing “bubble” or just another obligation, and those who recognize the need and benefit of sustainability principles. Textile rental company Lindström in coopertion with Comforta clearly belongs to the latter. But how can a company without locally dedicated ESG or sustainability role still succeed in this area? What does success look like, and how are the impacts and benefits of ESG measured? Is ESG the responsibility of the CEO, the HR manager, the sustainability expert, or someone else? Jussi Leskinen will share how Lindström and Comforta uses ESG principles, focusing especially on Governance. Jussi firmly believes that companies that don’t follow responsible practices will lose relevance and competitiveness with customers, employees, and society over time.
